J Interior is lead by Nichole Gaston, a houston native, graduate of the Houston Art Institute, and former student of the historic Spelman College of Atlanta. Nichole is passonate about her craft and has a successful track record to prove it. The company works in all facets of interior design from large scale office installations, housing hundreds of employees to real estate stagings. In addition to building a positive relationship with her clients, she says, “I like the challenge of creating a functional space, transforming one space into another, storage optimization, interior space lighting, project management, working with contractors and budgets, the whole process”. Because most of her work is in commercial design, she adds, “I believe an ergonomically correct environment allows employees to function better. The right chair, desk and even floor leads to greater productivity ”. This animal lover and avid travelers design eye has been informed by some of the worlds most eclectic destinations; St. Lucia, Antigua, Barbados, Puerto Rico, London, Africa, Hawaii, Ft. Lauderdale, Chicago, New York, Mexico, Canada to name some. Currently working on Government LEEDS certification, Gaston looks to expand J INTERIOR’s client base. Moving forward, J INTERIOR is open to expanding possibilities.
